Ben Crane is currently 23rd on the money list on the PGA tour. He has won twice in the PGA tour this year and the tournaments are: Farmers Insurance Open and CIMB Asia Pacific Classic Malaysia. He started the year well, with the Farmers Insurance Open which was in January. During this tournament, he scored a 68.7 average compared to the field average of 71.75. He also had the best greens in regulations than any other player, shooting 87.5% compared to 69.71% field average. He had the best scramble out of any player, up to 89%. Where the average was 55%. Due to his win, he received $954,000 as his money prize. This also gave him 500 bonus points to his FedEx cup standing.
Another tournament he aced was the CIMB Asia Pacific Classic Malaysia. Even though he gave up his leading position at the starting of the back nine, he eagled the 15th hole. Brian Davis was leading until the last hole, however, Ben Crane came back with an amazing 2nd shot and making the eagle on the last hole. He won Brain Davis by one shot. This gave him $1 million for his prize money.
